Offsite Housing Coach

We are looking for exceptional people to join our Offsite Services team!! Offsite coaches provide housing placement and coaching/case management services to disabled individuals who are moving from chronic homelessness into permanent housing. Coaches help their clients identify behaviors that interfere with housing stability, and develop plans to address them. Coaches also provide liaison services between their clients and landlords, other service providers, et cetera. Must be able to work ethically and independently, with strict adherence to documentation standards and good communication skills overall. Bachelor’s degree required in social work or related field. Previous experience in the areas of homeless assistance, housing assistance, mental health and/or substance abuse also required. Previous experience with healthcare navigation and/or social security benefits a plus. Full time position; some evenings or weekend hours may be required

 

Weekend Overnight Residential Coordinator 

We are seeking dedicated and mission-oriented individuals to complete our team at CFH and our Miller Veterans Center!! Overnight personnel are responsible for the management and oversight of all aspects of the facility, including guest services, security, and light reception/switchboard. Applicants must demonstrate strong social service skills and the initiative to take on tasks as they present themselves. Must be able to work independently and ethically, with the ability to problem solve. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, as is a basic knowledge of computing. Previous experience with vulnerable and challenging populations preferred. Associates Degree in Human Services or equivalent preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required. Veteran preferred.

 

Weekend Residential Front Desk Coordinator 

We are seeking a dedicated and mission-oriented individual to complete our team at the Center for the Homeless!! The Weekend Residential Coordinator is a 24 hours part time position, working Friday-Sunday at Center for the Homeless. She or he is responsible for the management and oversight of all aspects of the facility, including guest services, security, and light reception/switchboard. Applicants must demonstrate strong social service skills and the initiative to take on tasks as they present themselves. Must be able to work independently and ethically, with the ability to problem solve. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, as is a basic knowledge of computing.
