Xavier
Front Desk Volunteer since fall 2024
"I wanted to do more than just volunteer. I wanted to get to know the people here."
Xavier began volunteering at the Center in fall 2024. Since then, he's become a familiar face at the front desk - helping welcome Guests, assist with Weather Amnesty paperwork, and support the day-to-day operations of the Center.

Common questions
Do I need experience to volunteer?
No - orientation covers everything you need to know before your first shift.
How often do I need to volunteer?
It varies by role. Some opportunities are weekly, while others are as-needed. Scheduling is flexible, and you can give as much or as little time as works for you. We’re grateful for any time you invest in building relationships at the Center!
Can I volunteer with my kids?
Yes! You're welcome to bring your kids, and all volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
