A planned gift can benefit you, your loved ones, and the fight against homelessness at the Center for the Homeless. That's becuase a thoughtful planned gift enables charitable donations at a level that you might not have thought possible, while maximizing tax benefits for you and your family. 

Including the Center for the Homeless in your will is as simple as incorporating bequest language such as this: "I give, devise and bequeath, to the Center for the Homeless, a South Bend, Indiana 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, [% of assets or specific dollar amount] for the benefit of [specific program or general operating support]."

In addition, naming the Center as a beneficiary of a 401(k) plan, an IRA, a pension plan or an insurance policy is just as easy, and designating a small percentage of your assets can help ensure that the Center will always be here for people who need help getting back on their feet.
